Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- white syrup - 1/2 c
- pecans - 1 c
- unbaked pastry shell 9-inch - 1 item
- brown or white sugar - 1 c
- corn meal optional - 1 Tbsp
How to make pecan pie:
Beat evaporated milk, sugar and eggs well. Blend in salt, vanilla, corn meal and sugar. Stir in pecans; pour into pie shell. Bake in 375° oven for 10 minutes.
