  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
  • melted butter - 1 Tbsp
  • dark brown sugar - 1 c
  • light corn syrup - 1 c
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c
  • 9-inch pastry shell

How to make pecan pie:

Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually; add syrup, butter, salt, vanilla and pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 380° for 1 hour.
