Southern pecan pie

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 3 item
• packed dark brown sugar - 1 c
• light corn syrup - 1 c
• salt - 1/8 tsp
• vanilla extract - 1 tsp
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• melted butter - 1 Tbsp
• unbaked 9-inch pie shell

How to make southern pecan pie:

Beat eggs until light. Add brown sugar, gradually mixing well. Stir in syrup, salt, vanilla, pecans and butter. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until crust is lightly brown. Yields 6 servings.
