Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • pecans - 1 c
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
  • Karo syrup - 1 c

How to make pecan pie:

Heat sugar and syrup until sugar dissolves, then add to eggs. Add pecans, butter, vanilla and salt. Pour into uncooked pie shell. Preheat oven to 450°. Cook 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° and cook 20 minutes.
