Pecan balls

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 tsp
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• flour
• soft butter - 1 c
• granulated sugar or confectioners sugar - 1/2 c

How to make pecan balls:

Mix butter, sugar, salt and vanilla. Work in flour. The last bit of flour may be worked in with hands. Add nuts. Chill dough; roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes, until set but not browned. Roll in sifted confectioners sugar while warm. Cool; roll again.
