Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- soft butter - 1 c
- granulated sugar or confectioners sugar - 1/2 c
How to make pecan balls:
Mix butter, sugar, salt and vanilla. Work in flour. The last bit of flour may be worked in with hands. Add nuts. Chill dough; roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes, until set but not browned. Roll in sifted confectioners sugar while warm. Cool; roll again.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
