salt - 1/4 tsp
flour
brown sugar - 1/2 c
soda - 3/4 tsp
baking powder - 1/2 tsp
egg - 1 item
shortening - 1/2 c
white sugar - 1/2 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Mix shortening, peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Combine mixtures. Chill dough, then roll into walnut size balls and place on cookie sheet. Flatten & criss-cross the tops with fork. Bake 10-12 mins on 375°.
