Ingredients/Components
- soft butter or margarine - 3/4 lb
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- flour - 3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
How to make pound cake:
Cream butter or margarine with mixer, add sugar slowly until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour, salt and soda three times. Add alternately with sour cream to egg mixture, beginning with & ending with flour mixture. Add Griffin's Vanilla & Griffin's Coconut. Pour into 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hr. and 30 mins.
