Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • plain flour
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c

How to make peanut butter blossoms:

Mix these ingredients to make the cookie dough. Mix well and shape into 1 1/2-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar to coat the balls and place on a cookie sheet. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 to 12 minutes at 375°.

Remove from oven and while they're still hot using Hershey's Kisses (unwrapped), press 1 Kiss in the middle of the cookie and let cool.
