Peanut butter roll
Ingredients/Components
- white sugar
- water - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1/4 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg whites - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- white syrup - 1/4 c
- peanut butter - 1 item
How to make peanut butter roll:
Mix syrup and water. Pour in sugar. Add pinch of salt. Boil until mixture forms a hard ball in cold water and threads from spoon (260°). Pour syrup mixture slowly over beaten egg whites, beating all the while. Add vanilla, with beater on high speed, beat until mixture is firm.Spread out on buttered and powdered sugar table top. Spread on peanut butter. Roll into a roll. Cut into slices of desired thickness. Wrap each piece in plastic wrap.
