Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- corn syrup - 1 c
- raw Spanish peanuts - 2 c
How to make peanut brittle:
Bring to boil; boil until liquid spins a thread. Add 2 cups raw Spanish peanuts and boil until it turns a golden brown. Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Stir quickly and carefully as liquid will splatter. Quickly add 2 teaspoons baking soda and spread on buttered cookie sheet.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Candy.
