Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 3/4 c
- egg white - 1 item
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
- sliced, fresh peaches - 6 c
- chilled margarine, cut into 6 pieces - 1/4 c
How to make peach pie:
Beat egg white until foamy; brush over the bottom and sides of pastry. In a small bowl, combine flour and sugars; cut in margarine until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Sprinkle two-thirds into the bottom of the pastry; top with peaches. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes.
