Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
  • cracker crumbs - 1 c
  • cans peas, drained - 2 item
  • can French fried onion rings - 1 item

How to make pea casserole:

Mix soup, sour cream and salt. Stir in peas. Pour into a greased baking dish. Top with cracker crumbs and cheese; pour butter over all. Bake at 350° for about 25 minutes or until bubbling. Top with onion rings and brown. Serve hot.
