  • pkg - 2 1/2
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • cream - 1/4 c
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • Parmesan cheese, grated - 1 c
  • snipped, fresh parsley - 1/4 c
  • fettucini or spaghetti - 1 lb

How to make pasta with carbonara sauce:

Eggs, butter or margarine and cream must be room temperature. Beat together the eggs and cream until blended. Cook pasta 10 to 12 minutes in boiling, salted water; drain well. Turn pasta into a preheated 250° ovenproof serving dish. Toss pasta with butter and pepperoni. Pour egg mixture over and toss. Add cheese and parsley; toss to mix. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
