Pasta with carbonara sauce
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- pkg - 2 1/2
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- cream - 1/4 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 1 c
- snipped, fresh parsley - 1/4 c
- fettucini or spaghetti - 1 lb
How to make pasta with carbonara sauce:
Eggs, butter or margarine and cream must be room temperature. Beat together the eggs and cream until blended. Cook pasta 10 to 12 minutes in boiling, salted water; drain well. Turn pasta into a preheated 250° ovenproof serving dish. Toss pasta with butter and pepperoni. Pour egg mixture over and toss. Add cheese and parsley; toss to mix.
