Overnight coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- softened butter or margarine - 3/4 c
How to make overnight coffee cake:
Combine butter and sugar; cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs and sour cream. Combine next 5 ingredients. Add to batter and mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.Combine brown sugar, walnuts and cinnamon; mix well and sprinkle evenly over batter. Cover and chill overnight; uncover and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
