Oriental soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 c
- thinly sliced carrots - 1/4 c
- chicken bouillon granules - 5 tsp
- thinly sliced green onions - 2 Tbsp
- minced fresh ginger root - 1/4 1/2
- uncooked fine egg noodles - 1/2 c
- frozen tiny shrimp - 1/2 c
- bite-sized fresh spinach - 3/4 c
How to make oriental soup:
In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring water and bouillon to a boil. Add noodles, carrots and ginger root, reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes or until noodles and carrots are barely tender. Add shrimp and green onions; simmer 2 minutes or until shrimp are heated through. Add spinach and simmer for 1 minute or until spinach is tender.
