Ingredients/Components
- boiling water - 4 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 5 item
- fresh spinach leaves or watercress leaves - 1 c
- small can water chestnuts, drained and sliced - 1/2 c
- bean sprouts, drained - 1 c
- soy sauce to taste - 1 item
How to make oriental soup:
Dissolve bouillon cubes in water and simmer spinach or watercress just until tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 2 more minutes. Serves 5 generously.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, One Dish meal.
