- water - 1/2 c
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- cooked rice - 4 c
- bags Kroger frozen gumbo mix - 2 (16
- jar Van de Walle medium picante sauce - 1 oz
- Owens hot sausage, browned and drained - 1/2 lb
- Hillshire beef or pork sausage, sliced - 1/2 lb
How to make okra supreme:
Cook okra (gumbo mix) with picante sauce, water, pepper, garlic powder, tomato sauce and salt. Cook until almost done, then add Owens sausage, Hillshire sausage and cooked rice. Stir and cook another five minutes or until done. Serve.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Side dish, Vegetables.
