Oatmeal scotchies
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 c
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- uncooked oatmeal - 3 c
How to make oatmeal scotchies:
Preheat oven to 375°. In small bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon, set aside. In large bowl combine butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and morsels. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 7 to 8 minutes for chewier cookies or 9 to 10 minutes for crisper cookies.
