Oatmeal scotchies
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- firmly packed brown sugar
- orange extract - 1/2 tsp
- quick oats uncooked
How to make oatmeal scotchies:
Preheat oven to 350°. In small bowl, combine flour, baking power, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, eggs and water; beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats, Nestle butterscotch morsels and orange extract. Drop by slightly rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
