Oatmeal scotchies
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 c
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- oats uncooked, quick or old-fashion - 3 c
How to make oatmeal scotchies:
Preheat oven to 375°. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and butterscotch morsels. Drop by level measuring tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 7 to 8 minutes for chewier cookies or 9 to 10 minutes for crisper cookies. Makes about 4 dozen 3-inch cookies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
