Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 3/4 Tbsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp
- oatmeal, uncooked
- applesauce - 1 c
- egg white - 1 item
- oleo melted - 1 Tbsp
- Add applesauce, milk, brown sugar, oil and egg white
How to make oatmeal muffins:
Combine oatmeal, flour, cinnamon, baking soda and baking powder. Add applesauce, milk, brown sugar, oil and egg white. Mix just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fill muffin cups almost full. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes or until deep golden brown.Topping If Desired:1/4 c. oatmeal1/8 tsp. cinnamon1 Tbsp. brown sugar1 Tbsp. oleo (melted) Combine these ingredients and sprinkle evenly over muffin batter before baking.
