Oatmeal cake

Ingredients/Components

• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• milk - 1/4 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• coconut - 2 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• boiling water
• nuts - 1 c
• oatmeal - 1 c
• white sugar - 1 c
• well beaten eggs - 2 item
• Topping:2/3 stick melted butter

How to make oatmeal cake:

Topping:2/3 stick melted butter1/2 tsp. vanilla3/4 c. brown sugar2 c. coconut1 c. nuts1/4 c. milk Mix boiling water into oatmeal. Set aside to cool. Cream together butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Add to oatmeal. Add eggs; mix well. Add flour, salt, soda and cinnamon. Pour into greased and floured sheet cake pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.

Mix Topping ingredients together and pour over top of cake while cake is still hot.
