Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- chopped pecans
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- coconut
- soda
- boiling water - 2 c
- margarine - 6 Tbsp
- cream - 6 Tbsp
- white sugar
- quick oatmeal
- 1/2 sticks margarine - 1 item
- Let stand for 20 minutes
How to make oatmeal cake:
Mix oats, water and margarine. Let stand for 20 minutes. Add sugars and eggs. Stir in flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Topping:10 Tbsp. brown sugar6 Tbsp. cream6 Tbsp. margarine1 1/2 c. coconut1 1/4 c. chopped pecans Mix and stir over low heat until well mixed.
