Ingredients/Components

  • cream cheese - 3 oz
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • chopped fine walnuts - 1/3 c
  • Add 1 cup flour; mix together into large ball

How to make nut cups:

Soften cream cheese and butter; blend together. Add 1 cup flour; mix together into large ball. Chill 1 hour. Shape into 2 dozen (1-inch) balls and place in ungreased 1 3/4-inch muffin pans. Press dough against bottom and sides.Filling:1 egg3/4 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla1/3 c. chopped fine walnuts Beat together egg, brown sugar, butter and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add walnuts to mixture, thick consistency. Fill cups with mixture. Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes or until filling is set. remove and cool. Makes 2 dozen. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
