New orleans barbecued shrimp
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 c
- dash of red pepper - 1 item
- butter 2 sticks - 1/2 lb
- pepper, coarsely ground
- garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, crushed - 1/2 tsp
- shrimp raw, unpeeled - 1 lb
How to make new orleans barbecued shrimp:
Wash shrimp and place in deep casserole dish. Melt butter in microwave. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings to butter. Stir well. You may want to adjust garlic or salt to taste. Pour butter mixture over raw shrimp. Cook in microwave for approximately 15 minutes on High setting until shrimp is pink.
