Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- water - 5 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- shortening - 1 c
How to make never fail pie crust:
Cut the shortening into the flour and salt mixture until it resembles fine bread crumbs. Combine slightly beaten egg with vinegar and water; sprinkle over dry ingredients. Mix with fork. Makes 3 or 4 crusts. Can refrigerate dough one week or freeze.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
