No fail pie crust
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt
- flour - 4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- shortening
How to make no fail pie crust:
Blend flour, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening until particles are the size of peas. Beat egg; blend in vinegar and cold water. Sprinkle over flour mixture a tablespoon at a time, tossing with fork to mix. Gather dough together with fingers. Divide into small sections and wrap to freeze if desired.
