Never fail pie crust
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- cold water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- shortening
How to make never fail pie crust:
Mix flour, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening until consistency of small peas. Beat egg; mix with water and vinegar. Add at once to flour mixture; mix together with fork. Divide into 4 balls of equal size. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour while making filling. Yields 2 double crust pies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
