Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • butter - 5 Tbsp
  • chocolate chips - 2 c
  • large marshmallows - 24 item
  • can flaked coconut - 1 oz
  • dark chocolate fudge cake mix - 1 layer)

How to make mounds cake:

Prepare cake mix using package directions. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine milk, sugar, marshmallows and coconut in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until marshmallows are melted, stirring constantly. Spread hot mixture over warm cake.

Combine 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup milk in small saucepan. Bring to boil; boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until melted. Spread over coconut mixture. Cool cake completely before cutting.
