Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1/3 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • plus 2 Tbsp - 2 c
  • chopped parsley - 1/4 c
  • mushrooms
  • ginger ale - 1/2 c
  • garlic, salt and pepper to taste - 1 item

How to make mushroom strudel:

Filling:1 1/2 lb. mushrooms2 Tbsp. butter1/4 c. chopped parsley1/3 c. sour cream garlic, salt and pepper to taste Combine dough ingredients. Divide into 3 parts. Wrap in Saran Wrap and refrigerate.

Make filling: Chop mushrooms and finely chop onion; saute in butter. Add parsley and season. Cool. Stir in sour cream. Roll chilled dough into rectangles; spread with filling. Roll up jelly roll fashion. Bake at 350° for about 50 minutes. Slice and serve warm.
