Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- pkg - 14 oz
- milk - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- large marshmallows - 24 item
- box Swiss or German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
How to make mounds cake:
Prepare cake as directed on box and bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan. While cake is baking, cook 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk and marshmallows until melted. Stir in coconut and spread on cake. Bring 2 cups sugar, cocoa, 1/2 cup milk and butter to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Beat until thick and creamy.
