Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- chocolate chips
- dash of salt - 1 item
- butter or oleo, softened
- can Hershey syrup 1 1/2 c - 1 oz
- creme de menthe if clear color, needs drops of green food coloring - 2 Tbsp
How to make mint brownies:
Mint Layer:1/2 c. butter or oleo, softened2 c. confectioners sugar2 Tbsp. creme de menthe (if clear color, needs drops of green food coloring) Frosting:1 c. chocolate chips6 Tbsp. butter or margarine Preheat oven to 350°. Mix brownie ingredients together. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool. In small bowl, mix softened margarine, sugar and creme de menthe until smooth. Spread on brownies. In saucepan, melt together 6 tablespoons margarine and chocolate chips. Cool. Spread over mint frosting layer. Chill. Cut into 1-inch squares to serve.
