Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1/4 c
  • vegetable oil - 1/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • powdered sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • peppermint extract - 1/4 1/2
  • drops green food coloring - 10 item
  • Betty Crocker brownie mix with can of chocolate syrup - 1 pkg
  • to 24 chocolate covered peppermint patties - 20 item
  • Grease bottom only of pan

How to make mint brownies:

Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottom only of pan. Mix brownies, syrup, water, oil, and egg with spoon about 50 strokes, until moist. Bake for 30 minutes. Place peppermint patties on top of brownies immediately after baking and return to oven for 3 to 4 minutes. Spread over brownies. Cool, then frost with Mint Fluff Frosting. Keep any remaining brownies refrigerated.Mint Fluff Frosting:1 can whipping cream2 Tbsp. powdered sugar1/4 to 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract10 drops green food coloring Beat all ingredients in chilled bowl until stiff.
