- chopped carrots - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- Velveeta cheese - 1/2 1
- cream-style corn - 2 c
- flour
- margarine - 1/4 c
- milk - 2 c
How to make midwest chowder:
Cream Sauce:1/2 c. flour1/4 c. margarine2 c. milk Simmer first 4 ingredients in 2 cups boiling salted water. Drain. Add sauce to vegetables. Stir in the cheese. Add corn. Heat through.Recipe categories: Cheese, Soups & stews, Chowders.
