Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • walnuts, chopped - 1/4 1/2
  • seedless raisins - 1/2 c
  • day old bread cubes - 5 c

How to make microwave bread pudding:

Scald milk and butter over low heat. Mix bread cubes, raisins and nuts in an 8-inch glass baking dish. Beat together milk mixture, sugar, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over bread. Microwave on Bake-7 (Medium) for 12 to 14 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Yield: One 8 x 8-inch dish.
