Microwave bread pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- whipping cream - 3/4 c
- semisweet chocolate chips - 1/2 c
- whipped cream cheese - 1/4 c
- slices white bread, cut into 1 inch cubes - 10 item
- miniature peanut butter cups, quartered - 15 item
How to make microwave bread pudding:
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the cream, chocolate chips, cream cheese, sugar and butter. Cover and microwave on high for 3-4 minutes or until chips are melted; stir until smooth. Add bread cubes; toss to coat.Place half of bread mixture in a greased 8 inch microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle with peanut butter cups; top with remaining bread mixture. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 2 minutes or until peanut butter cups are melted. Serve warm.
