Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 5 item
- milk - 4 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
- cans green chilies, diced - 4 oz
How to make mexican spoon bread:
Butter Pyrex casserole. Cover bottom of 8-inch square baking dish with chilies and top with cheese.In a mixing bowl, beat eggs lightly. Add flour, salt and milk. Pour over chilies and cheese in baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes at 350° or until the custard is set.
