Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 5 item
• milk - 4 c
• salt - 2 tsp
• flour - 1 c
• grated Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
• cans green chilies, diced - 4 oz

How to make mexican spoon bread:

Butter Pyrex casserole. Cover bottom of 8-inch square baking dish with chilies and top with cheese.

In a mixing bowl, beat eggs lightly. Add flour, salt and milk. Pour over chilies and cheese in baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes at 350° or until the custard is set.
