Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2/3 c
- grated cheese - 1 c
- corn meal
- jalapeno peppers, chopped - 3 item
- 3 can creamed corn
How to make mexican corn bread:
Mix everything but cheese. Pour 1/2 of batter in a greased dish. Add 1/2 of cheese on batter, then pour remaining batter on cheese. Cover with remaining cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Mexican.
