Mexican corn bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- dairy sour cream - 1 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- corn meal
- can drained whole kernel corn - 1 oz
- can drained, chopped green peppers - 1 oz
How to make mexican corn bread:
Preheat oven to 400°. Grease 9-inch square baking pan. Combine dry ingredients; stir in remaining ingredients. Mix just until blended. Pour into pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Serves 9.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Mexican.
