Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- grated cheese
- green pepper - 1/2 c
- sugar optional - 1 tsp
- creamed corn - 1 c
- corn meal
How to make mexican corn bread:
Mix all ingredients (except cheese) in a large bowl. Pour half of mixture into an 8 x 12-inch baking dish and top with half of the cheese. Pour remaining mixture into dish and top with the other half of the cheese. Bake 45 minutes at 375°.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Mexican.
