Mexican chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- jar taco sauce mild or hot - 1 oz
- large chicken breasts, cooked and cut in pieces save broth - 3 item
- tortilla chips or 8 corn tortillas, cut in pieces - 1 pkg
How to make mexican chicken casserole:
Thin undiluted soups with about 1 cup of chicken broth and the taco sauce. Layer the chicken, tortillas, onion and cheese in a large low casserole dish or a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken mixture. Bake at 375° until it bubbles (about 30 minutes). Serves 8.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
