  • sour cream - 1 c
  • garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
  • black olives, sliced - 1/2 c
  • whole chicken, cut up - 1 item
  • jalapeno peppers, diced - 2 4

How to make mexican chicken casserole:

Stew chicken until thoroughly cooked; allow to cool slightly. Remove meat from bone; cut into chunks. Mix chicken with all other ingredients, except cheese; pour into a 3-quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Serves 6 to 8.
