Mexican chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- black olives, sliced - 1/2 c
- whole chicken, cut up - 1 item
- jalapeno peppers, diced - 2 4
How to make mexican chicken casserole:
Stew chicken until thoroughly cooked; allow to cool slightly. Remove meat from bone; cut into chunks. Mix chicken with all other ingredients, except cheese; pour into a 3-quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
