Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 2 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/4 item
  • ketchup
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • Italian bread crumbs - 1/2 c

How to make barbecued meatballs:

Sauce:1/2 c. ketchup2 Tbsp. brown sugar2 Tbsp. vinegar2 Tbsp. water1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Combine all meatball ingredients. Shape into 16 meatballs. Place on baking pan. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes. I always line the baking pan with foil and spray foil with Pam. For dainty meatballs, shape into 40 meatballs per pound of beef. Meatballs can be made ahead and frozen.

For sauce, combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan and bring to boil. Add meatballs. Simmer, covered, until heated through.
