Meatballs and gravy
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/4 c
- cooking oil - 3 Tbsp
- hamburger meat - 2 lb
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- small onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- can evaporated milk, with cans of water - 1 item
How to make meatballs and gravy:
Mix meat, onion, salt and pepper. Form in small balls about 1/2 inch round. Place in deep skillet. Cook about 15 minutes, stirring often. Remove from skillet when done; set aside for later. Pour cooking oil in clean skillet and let heat. Pour flour, salt and pepper in oil; stir until browned. Add milk, stirring until smooth. Add a can of water, stirring until smooth. Add more water if needed. Place meatballs in gravy and serve over rice or mashed potatoes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
