Ingredients/Components
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- fine dry bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- mashed potatoes - 2 c
- shredded mild cheese - 1/4 c
- to 4 slices cooked bacon optional - 2 item
How to make meat and potato pie:
Mix thoroughly 1/2 can soup, the beef, onion, egg, bread crumbs, parsley and seasonings. Press firmly into 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Drain off fat. Frost beef with potatoes. Top with remaining soup and cheese. Bake 10 minuRecipe categories: Potato, Main dish, Beef.
