Mayonnaise cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 3/4 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour
• oil - 3/4 c
• cocoa - 3 tsp
• chopped dates - 1 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• boiling water - 1 c
• egg - 1 item

How to make mayonnaise cake:

Combine nuts, dates, water and baking soda in a bowl and let cool. In a separate bowl, beat together the oil, egg and sugar. Add this mixture to the original one of nuts and dates. Add flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa and vanilla and beat all together well. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
