Golden meatball casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- egg - 1 item
- Velveeta cheese - 1/2 lb
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- onion - 1/4 c
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- large carrots - 2 item
- all-purpose oil - 1 item
How to make golden meatball casserole:
Combine meat, crumbs, egg and salt. Mix lightly. Shape into balls, brown in small amount of oil on all sides in large skillet. Add water, rice, carrots, green pepper and onion. Cover and simmer 25 minutes. Add Velveeta. Heat until cheese melts. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
