Ingredients/Components
- box small macaroni - 1 item
- sharp cheese white works best, cubed - 1 lb
- sleeve soda crackers, crushed - 1 item
- melted butter - 2 4
- milk see directions - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Cook macaroni according to package directions. Put in casserole dish with cubed cheese and all but approximately 1 cup crushed crackers. Pour milk over all so ingredients are approximately 3/4 covered. Season to taste with salt and pepper and top with remaining crackers mixed with melted butter. Cover casserole and bake at 375° for 1 hour and uncovered approximately 1 hour.Recipe categories: Cheese, Pasta, Elbow macaroni.
