Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- heavy cream - 3 c
- Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- fresh mushrooms, sliced - 6 oz
- Mozzarella, shredded - 1/4 lb
- ziti
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Heat butter; brown mushrooms slightly. Heat cream in a separate pan. Take off heat; stir in egg yolks vigorously, a little at a time. Still stirring, add Mozzarella and 1 cup Parmesan. Salt and pepper to taste. Add cream and cheese mixture to ziti and mushrooms. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on casserole.
