Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- elbow macaroni - 2 c
- shredded cheese - 2 c
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Melt butter; remove from heat. Blend in flour, salt and mustard. Add milk; heat, stirring constantly until sauce thickens slightly. Add cheese; heat until melted. Boil macaroni 6 minutes; drain. Combine sauce and macaroni in a 2-quart casserole. Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Cheese, Pasta, Elbow macaroni.
